TRUVELO SPEED DISPAY SIGNS
Truvelo has recently introduced a range of speed display signs as explained below and in the accompanying brochures. We will also be pleased to quote for alternative designs and sizes.
TruSign 300
This sign was originally designed to be used in conjunction with the ProLaser III laser speedmeter and to display the vehicle speed in 290mm high numerals. It is a 3 character display available for miles per hour or kilometres per hour applications. The display will alternate between a speed reading and the words “Slow Down”. When used with the ProLaser III it is powered by it’s own external battery pack to reduce the weight and aid portability. The same sign with a built-in radar head (TruSign 300R) can be permanently mounted on a post and be mains powered for long term use, or powered by internal batteries for short-term operation of a week or less. The TruSign 300 is designed to display the speed of the vehicle.
TruSign R series
The R series sign is designed to display the speed limit applicable at the location where the speeding vehicle is detected. It is available in a range of speed limit denominations, eg 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 70 etc. When a speeding vehicle is detected it will display the speed limit and the words “Slow Down”. The speed at which the sign activates is factory set in the software, eg at 32 or 33 mph. The R Series is designed from the outset to be mains powered.
