Automatic Community Speed Watch (ACSW) is a gentle touch approach to speed enforcement that aims to educate drivers and raise awareness of the dangers of speeding, rather than issuing fines or penalties. ACSW can combine Truvelo's industry-leading VIA-Cam speed camera to capture and record the speed and registration number of vehicles exceeding the speed limit in a designated area, whilst motorists are given feedback about their speed from TruSign speed indication displays (SIDs) The data is then processed by Truvelo's Violation Management Server (VMS) and sent to the relevant authorities, who can issue warning letters or take further action if necessary.
